Conquering Glassford Hill
So, I just had to tell you all about my favorite new thing, the Glassford Hill Trail. I have avoided this one for years as it is labeled “intermediate”. I wanted to do all the “easy” free ones in the area first.
It took 11 years, but I ran out of easy ones last weekend. Time to graduate to intermediate!
I am so glad this ended up being my first mid-grade hike. It is free parking, and there are art exhibitions on the trail. It is a 4 mile round trip up an active volcano. They have picnic tables everywhere. The plaque below is at the top. Have you been there? What do you think?
