Amazon

Have you heard the rumor that Amazon is coming to Prescott Valley? The first time that I heard people talking about this was clear back in 2017. Well, the rumor has been confirmed officially by Amazon. The map below shows where the location is planned to be, in Prescott Valley, Arizona at 9807 East Valley Road.

Pay starts at $15.50 or more, and if you are applying for an hourly position for this company, you do not need to provide a resume. Perks include paid time off, tuition reimbursement and access to a 401K – as well as healthcare, parental leave and savings plans per Amazon.

Personally, I am excited for two-day shipping and the possibility of Amazon grocery. When I moved here in 2009 it would have been hard to imagine Prescott Valley growing as much as it has. What do you think? Will Amazon be a good fit for the community providing much needed better paying jobs? Will it be worth the traffic and the growing pains?

I suppose time will tell!
